Installation day picks up the energy. Flowers were carefully transported to the castle the evening before, where each space was slowly transformed from ceremony to reception.

This is always one of the most rewarding parts of the process as the flowers settle into the space, adjusting each arrangement, and seeing the atmosphere begin to take shape.

The thoughtful placement of each design softens large rooms, guides the eye along long tables, and creates a warm, welcoming feel for your guests. That moment when the flowers feel completely at home in their space.

The week before a wedding, the studio begins to fill. The vases and containers are washed and mechanics prepared. Buckets and buckets of flowers and foliage are selected and cut, each stem carefully conditioned, allowing the flowers time to settle so they open beautifully on the day. Colour palettes begin to emerge, textures come together, and the designs begin to feel real.

There’s a rhythm to this stage, a few days dedicated entirely to preparing and gathering every detail. This is where the foundation is set for everything that follows. As the wedding day draws closer, the designs begin to take shape. And, trying to remember to take a break.

Arrangements are created slowly and thoughtfully, each one styled to feel natural and abundant, while working in harmony with the space. This stage is focused, stems placed, adjusted, and refined until everything feels balanced and effortless. The flowers begin to tell the story we first imagined on paper, soft movement, seasonal colour, and thoughtful details all blendingcom together.

Always so much more than just the flowers. The process begins long before the flowers are gathered. Every wedding begins with sketches, notes, and conversations that focus on how the day will feel. We consider the scale of the venue, warm tones of this panelled ballroom, and the couples' plans for wild elegance. We planned arrangements that would soften the architecture while still feeling natural and abundant. Seasonality shapes everything, and we planned flowers that would feel at home in their setting opening beautifully at just the right moment. These are ideas that develop over months.

Our first tulips are opening and our flower season begins.

Seasonal Bouquets and Tulip Wraps are now available to order, gathered from what’s naturally blooming, soft, seasonal, and full of movement.

I only grow double, peony-style named varieties that I chose for their abundance, movement and layered petals as they open.

They’re available for only a few weeks each spring, which makes them all the more special.
