Cute pink doggy pal 💕 She’s based on one of my vintage ornaments which is a copy of the famous 1950s Lefton character “Mr Toodles”, who I’ve never been lucky enough to find in the UK! Started as a pencil sketch with I am about to paint in the traditional way, I decided to do a digital painting in Procreate first, I generally use the same process for both so I thought I’d share some progress pictures so you can see how I get to the finished picture . Just under 10 hours drawing in Procreate altogether.

Well I think that's my October decorations done! Paint, googly eyes and fake lashes all the way! Easier than carving when you've no energy! 🥳💛
