Which are you using to get smaller stains that come through?

Red BIN for me. I wouldn’t be without a shellac spray for getting the stains that you only notice after the first coat. It’s effective and quick drying. Quick spray, spot prime, full coat, done.

What a great drop!! Big improvement on Caparol PU.

Flows well, opacity is good, and the finish is bang on! The rep told me you can use it straight on without an adhesion primer… I haven’t tried doing that yet. I don't know if anyone else has? I’ll give it a go next week.

But one coat of Haft and one of this stuff, and you’re good to go.

Anyone else notice this at Dulux? Ultra Matt ‘Interior Walls’.

It’s a rebrand of Dulux Trade Durable Flat Matt, but it makes sense. Ultra Matt (now Ultra Matt Ceilings) is one of the best ceiling paints available, in my opinion. Durable Flat Matt does exactly the same thing, but for walls.

It’s available in tinted colours, it’s durable, and it’s low sheen. It’s also almost impossible to use it and be left with flashing or framing. My mum could use this paint and get a good finish.

So Dulux have put the two products together.

Some decorators seem to slate designer paints, but you can't argue with the quality of Little Greene Intelligent Matt. It's just lovely.

Great for your lids!! I know I’ve said it before, but it genuinely is.

Flies on, and a fantastic finish in white. It’s dull enough to avoid flashing and framing. I use Armstead on a lot of rentals, and I much prefer vinyl matt to contract matt.

A big seller!

Really good filler. I know it doesn't sand as easily as some of the others, but it feels finer, it doesn't sag as much, and it doesn't contain styrene. I swear by it.
