This is a recently finished project. This client had a space near their front door that they struggled to find a storage box and shelf unit to make the best use of.
The storage box was designed with shaker-style panels and a live edge lid. It was made from Cedar of Lebanon, locally sourced from Rowan Woodland Products . I joined two pieces together on edge to make a board wide enough for the lid, and a knot in the wood adds an interesting feature to the top.
The shelf unit was made in a similar style, with a deep opening to allow storage boxes to be added, and a row of double hooks to cater for various items.
