During my short breaks at the supermarket, I would stroll towards the Flower Corner, and I would day dream and admire the beautiful, colourful fresh flowers, the arrangements and the pieces of decoration. In those moments, my mind would go further, I didn’t just want flowers inside a vase – I longed for more, perhaps a wider range of options where I could not only decorate a table, but the whole house… or more. I wanted an opportunity to use creativity – my idea was to integrate flowers with different materials, metal, wood and decorate different environments – modern, contemporary, Victorian. I also wanted something more practical – as opposed to worrying about watering my plants every 4 / 5 days. I love fresh flowers but I strongly believe they are at their best in the gardens. In a vase, they don’t last long, and it is difficult to be able to create something different. It was then that I discovered and fell in love with dried flowers – something that not many people know, but are starting to notice too. Not only are they pretty and classy, dried flowers also last for up to 4 years, and can be combined with endless possibilities. I have catered for all sorts of decoration needs – from residential, commercial, to weddings, birthdays and magazine photo shoots. I have made arrangements using vases, clay pots, glass, jars, wood, and iron – there is no limit for what you can create. So I had a seed of what would become my passion. With much love and determination, my dream started to take shape when my family and I moved to Southampton. New home, new life and a new challenge, and after some reluctance my husband bought some dried flowers – ProvenDriedFlowers was born. I have never looked back, and I have never stopped. I am pursuing my dream and exercising my creativity on the colours and shapes of the beautiful dried flowers that will arrive for you in the form of a special arrangement, made with love and care. I invite you to visit my pages and hope you can feel the passion I put in every single creation you see. I would be delighted to answer any questions you might have, so feel free to contact me at any time.
