Meet this striking lady. She is born from a commission from a recent event!
​A lovely customer spotted our original dragon design on the stall, which was styled as a hip/belt bag.She had a vision: Adapting the design into a shoulder handbag with bold, striking red dragon details contrasting on sleek black leather.
​James got straight to work figuring out the technical craft needed to redesign the pattern and make her vision a reality. And ta-da! Here she is in all her glory.

We love that our customer has personified this creation, and we are completely in love with how fierce and striking she (the bag) turned out.

Another magical day set opposite the ancient stones of Conwy Castle with The Artisan Market Company, sharing our handcrafted leather creations.

​One of these much admired cat masks found its soulmate today. Yay!

​Thank you to everyone who paused to wander through our stall, ask questions and invest in true, traditional craftsmanship.

​We are bringing our leathercraft to Conwy with for the first time this weekend!

​Amongst our hand made treasures:

- ​Hand stitched leather bags and purses with Welsh inspired detailing

- ​Intricately woven cuffs and bracelets made with the traditional mystery braid technique.

- Bookmarks and valet trays with Celtic inspired detailing.

- Beautifully s​culpted leather cat masks and stunning dragon bags.

Genuine leatherwork crafted right here in Wales, each piece hand cut, hand dyed, and hand stitched from start to finish.

Tap, tap, tap to bring the dragon to life. 🐲

This method is used to add texture and detail to plain leather. The leather is first cased (soaked and rested), this softens the fibers allowing the stamps to bite deep into the hide.

This piece will form part of an exciting project coming together in the workshop over the next couple of days.
