A little bit of a change will be happening on here.

After a lot of thought, I’m closing this account down and moving everything over to the account going forward.

Field & Folk Creative is closing as a studio, but the account is getting a new life, where I’ll be sharing what comes next.

A new chapter, a new role, back in a studio and part of a team, learning and growing in ways I genuinely couldn’t do alone.

If you’ve followed me here for my work, my process, or just to see what I’m up to that’s exactly what you’ll find over there. Just in a new form. Thank you 🙏

Thank you for being here. See you on the other side. ✨

We’ve been shortlisted! 🎉

Field and Folk Creative is a finalist for the New Kid on the Block award at 2026, a nationwide search for the UK’s greatest small businesses.

One of just eight finalists in our category, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far this little studio has come.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in what we’re building here 🌿 and celebrated in style with a cuppa in my favourite handcrafted cups by

Finally… it feels like spring 🌿

That soft warmth on your face.
The light stretching a little longer into the evening.
Windows open. Shoulders soften. Energy shifts.

After months of grey and rain, I can feel the season changing not just outside, but internally too.

Who’s with me? ☀️

Every project begins with an idea often loose, intuitive, and quietly full of possibility. This initial concept for the workspace pod started exactly there: exploring how a single self-contained space could support focus, calm, and deep creative flow.

As the design evolved, so did the intention. Drawing from a fusion of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth alongside the insight gained through extensive research, we shaped a pod that feels both grounded and inspiring. Clean lines, soft neutral tones, natural materials, and a balance of openness and enclosure to create a space that supports wellbeing while reducing visual and acoustic noise and offering personal control within a comfortable working environment.

This design direction wasn’t just aesthetic. It is purposeful:
✨ To create a micro-environment that supports neurodiversity
✨ To offer a sanctuary for focus within busy workplaces
✨ To bring sustainable, calming, biophilic-inspired design into everyday work rituals
✨ To remind us that small spaces can still hold big moments of clarity through negative space

Seeing early sketches transform into the final visual concept is always a powerful reminder of why thoughtful design matters.

Morning, thought I’d share some recent work with you all to show some of the process.

Working with 3D rendering software is more than just planning a space it’s a meditative exploration of form, light, and atmosphere. Each virtual corner, every texture and tone, allows us to pause, reflect, and envision environments that nurture wellbeing and inspire presence.

Through visualisation, we gently imagine how a space will feel before it exists, creating interiors that are not only functional but deeply resonant with those who inhabit them. It’s about slowing down, noticing the subtle details, and designing with intention.
