I’ve kind of given up on charity shops tbh, prices seem to be a bit mental and the quality of items definitely seems to have deteriorated - however. Whilst out and about in Lutterworth picking up a prescription and grabbing a coffee, I spotted this little beauty in the charity shop window. An original on canvas of Lutterworth Church, a view I know very well. It’s a really well painted composition. I kind of want to keep it.

It’s been a bit of a blustery weekend hasn’t it? Here’s a very substantial bank of mahogany haberdashery drawers that are sturdy enough to take on anything. Chunky and beautifully constructed they have such a commanding solidity to them and look super cool. They’re available now and will be online asap.

Why do I sound like Yoda when I write descriptions for instagram? I don’t talk in backwards sentences but can’t seem to describe a piece of furniture without becoming a Jedi master. Anyway. Here’s a mahoosive vintage school cupboard, salvaged from a local Leicestershire technology block. Super solid, with deep panelled doors and fixed interior shelves. Original planked back and some nice school graffiti to add to the character. Wonderful it is. Available now it’s on my website www.kilburnjackson.co.uk. It’s a beauty.
