I have some news…

You may have noticed that over the last few weeks I have been pretty quiet on here.

Life outside of Olivetreehome has seen some significant changes lately and so I have been taking some time to reflect and decide how to navigate this.
My home life and my children have and will always be my priority and therefore after much consideration I have made the very difficult decision to close the doors on Olivetreehome towards the end of September.

I do have a little bit of stock left before closing so if you are looking to stock up on gifts or have your eye on something for a while, well now is the time, and I have reduced most products to make this a little easier for you.

I am ever so grateful to every single one of you and your support over the last few years.
You are the ones that have made the wonderful journey I have been on with Olivetreehome possible and I can’t thank you enough.
I will keep the website open while stocks last and if you are a monthly subscriber your last delivery will arrive in September.
I’m hoping that maybe in a year or so I will be back but for now, thank you so much.

I realise it’s been quite a while since I popped up and actually introduced myself on here.

So hey, I’m Helen, a northern girl who grew up in Cumbria but now lives in Essex.

I’m the fragrance blender, candle maker, product developer, designer and doer of everything Olivetreehome.
Yep, it’s just me so if I go a little quiet every now and again it’s usually down to the juggle, but I will be here behind the scenes working away, so do feel free to reach out. I always love a chat ☺️

Things you may not know about me 🤍
I need a large cup of Yorkshire tea first thing to start my day, I’m a self confessed chocoholic and really enjoy a lovely meal out and nice bottle of w**e every now and again. But enough about the food!

Not many people realise that as well as running Olivetreehome I also work part time as an administrator for the NHS and actually really enjoy the variety this adds to my week.

Recently I set myself the NHS couch to 5k challenge and am halfway through (week 5) I’m not a natural runner and don’t find it easy but I am determined 🏃🏻‍♀️ I completed my first park run a few weeks ago, no I didn’t run the whole thing but it felt really good to have taken part.

I’d love to hear if you’ve recently completed couch to 5k or are also at the start of your running journey..

And finally I’m very excited to have recently discovered a love for flower pressing and floral design 🌸 so with lots of practice and inspiration my plan is to begin to introduce this art gradually through Olivetreehome products.

It’s official, launch day for my first ever room/linen sprays is Saturday the 27th April 🤍

A project that took a little longer than I planned, creating a silicone free, alcohol free, essential oil spray that can be safely used on fabrics without leaving a greasy mark. Along with this, choosing a beautiful bottle to house this in, designing the label and making sure the scents I use complement your home.

As always I made sure my subscription box customers received first with the thumbs up, so if you’re not a monthly box subscriber and haven’t enjoyed already, I’m excited to share that it’s not long now… x
