To all the scene setters, cake bakers, jam makers, donation givers, likers, sharers & awesome attendees… we see you and have felt the love again this year so THANK YOU so much to everyone involved in raising an amazing £340+ for our earth angels AKA the Macmillan Cancer Support nurses so far. Subtle or striking?
Eyeliner tattoos are so versatile- there’s something on the menu for everyone! This lady required more of a subtle definition along both upper and lower lash lines, and would only usually put eyeliner on herself along the bottom. No more nakey eye or smudges from the rain! At top-up we will add more of a flick to the upper line- after 2 hours of work these eyelids had had enough but you can already see the transition here 🤩

This is Hilda (very fresh off the blade!) who at 85 years young wanted to feature on Facebook in her own reel! She’s been through the wars this year and had some facial ops that involved cutting and scarring around her eye areas, so we decided on upgrading her old microblading to combination brows for her yearly top-up by adding some handheld shading. Due to the age and texture of the skin also (plus health conditions like diabetes, blood thinners and certain medications) you can see here how the healed original microbladed pigment doesn’t always stay as finitely crisp and can ‘ink-out’ after top-ups, looking less complimentary than fuller coverage shading… so that’s what we went for! She already loves them but they will settle and calm down after they’ve fully healed and won’t look as bold 🙏🏼✨

Pleased to announce (after the success of last years one) that we are hosting another tea, coffee & cake day here at Syebrows on Friday 23rd October 10am-4pm! All funds raised will go directly to MacMillan, with the theme this year being ’The Cancer Kicking Cowboys & Girls’ in homage to the legend that was Dolly Parton and all our local glamour-puss’s we’ve lost this year 💕 There will be plenty of those delicious homemade cakes for sale so if any of you would like to contribute this year by baking any goodies then please let us know, but will be great just to see any of you who are able to pop in on the day, with a few surprises and special guests ;) 🧁🫖☕️

I would say a fifth of the work I do on brows are ‘corrections’ on work done elsewhere (for different reasons) I love a challenge and will always endeavour to improve them where possible. Consultations are important in order to analyse what, if anything, can be done. As for further top-ups, it’s hard to tell how well the previous pigment will blend with the new until the weeks have passed, but the usual aftercare advice still applies and the success rate over the years is high.
