I’ll be there selling a selection of my George and Pops home lampshades and homewares/ gifts and taking lampshade orders.

I’ll be in the great company of Melissa's Melting Pot Monicas Bakes The Little Blue Balloon Nature's Wax Melts and The Sale Room so you can definitely make a dent in some Christmas Shopping!

All in support of British Liver Trust Support Groups and Volunteering with a raffle prize hamper to be won.

Hello there! We’re back after a busy period of house rennos, poorly bugs, shop moves and shop set ups!

has relocated to a beautiful little space within Dotty’s & Doodles] 🐶at .

Right next to the The Sweet Cottage 😋😋and 🧴 💅and .boutique.hatton 👗

I’ll be here working Monday- Wednesday 10-3pm so come and see some beautiful, handmade shades and homewares and bits and bobs or bring your own shades for a recover and makeover!

I’m available on email, phone, and appointments at other times so don’t hesitate to contact me. Rachel or Jody will be here the rest of the week to assist you.

I’m surrounded by the gorgeous dog themed gifts, treats and human gifts that Rachel from Dotty’s & Doodles] beautifully curates.

Dogs are so welcome! 🐾🐾

Ta’ra a bit! Happy twixmas and see you on the 4th January at our new location within Hatton Shopping Village

We’ve had a super 9 mths in these 4 walls and lots of exciting plans are to come.

🎄Twas the night before ‘George & Pops home’ closes its doors for the last time …..

Doesn’t it look all cosy and inviting and Christmassy?!

So proud of what I’ve achieved in the last 9 months and how the business has grown. I’ve had the most amazing customers from near and far pop in and tell me how delightful the shop is and such lovely compliments of my lampshades and the goodies I sell.

All from other small independent businesses doing their amazing thing.

Every single purchase, be it a card, a candle, a doormat or a bespoke lampshade order has meant the world to me, so the hugest thank you!

I’m handing in the keys to this unit on Christmas Eve, as increased costs and small business challenges have finally beaten me. But, I’ll still be going strong and have great plans for the future and a bit more time for my incredible family.

As of the new year, I’ll be located within at Hatton Shopping Village, so just a couple of hundred metres away. I’ll be there Mon- Weds in person but available the rest of the week via phone and email for any orders or enquiries.

I may finally have time to build my website and learn how to do a reel 🤣!

I’ve not been able to get to the shop this last week as been hit so hard with the horrendous coughing virus but aiming to be in for our last day in this unit - happy Xmas Eve Eve!!🎄❤️ xx

Poppy from the ‘Pops’ learning how to wrap the gifts for customers. She loves playing shop with me and has plans to take over in years to come - such a creative poppet! 🥰

Also, when a great friend of 24 years surprises you with a visit as she’s in the area = a great day!! ❤️

Loved stripping back and recovering this tall, floor lamp that was loved by its owners but seen better days over the years.

Inside material was singed from too strong a bulb, the outside was dented and the seam had come apart.

The customer chose the fabric and the transformation was complete!

They were delighted and now it’s proudly back in their living room like new.

Inbetween a large order of shades I’m working on, I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Anne who came in for a mooch.
Walked out with a commission for a sweet little empire shade to be made up for her spare room.
Anne can’t make decisions very easily 😂 but was delighted with her end result!
That’s the last of that beautiful French type toile fabric but plenty of choice here at !

🌲Just 73 days until Christmas is here 😳🌲!

Christmas beauties are coming in and ready for stocking fillers and adding a bit of magical cheer to the home✨✨

The wonderful has made these delightful ceramic hangings and it was a pleasure to go rooting through her stash and meet her tortoise and dogs in her studio.

The brilliant are busy working on their Christmas launch next door to me which takes place from Friday 4th November! I’ve had a sneak peak at the gorgeous string lighting, decorations and gifts and can’t wait for the reveal!
