The total monies raised for Oarsome Chance at the Easter event was....

£866.25

Thank you so much to every single person who helped make this possible!

Carisbrooke Arms for having us, & selling raffle tickets behind the bar before the event

Belle Bouncers Gosport for saving the day with the soft play

Georgia & Claire for bringing the rowing machine, and all the information for Oarsome Chance

The stall holders (Rebecca, Alphabears, Speck-tacular Bakes)

Auntie Sheila & Pat for running pick-a-duck, how many sweets, and guess the bunny's name

Mum for running the stall by herself

Adam, Laura & Jemma for thinking they were going to enjoy a nice chilled day with the kids but ended up folding the hundreds of tickets for the raffle or in Adams case folding tickets, being money man, & picture hanger for pretty much the entire event 😂

Arron, Pat & mum working until early hours of the morning on the run up to the event.

& lastly all the local businesses that kindly donated prizes, vouchers or money (for eggs) for the raffle.

It was a fantastic day, & I'm so glad we got to support a local charity ❤️

Oh what a damp and dreary day 🌫️🌧️

If your stuck for ideas to keep the kids busy - why not start on those Easter bonnets for the competition this Sunday? & take the opportunity to hook out those outfits for the fancy dress competition or even better create your own outfit!

Things to Remember:
🥚 Easter Bonnet & Fancy Dress Competitions are 50p entry (with all monies going to Oarsome Chance)
🥚 The on-the-day colouring competition is completely FREE!
🥚 We have prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd boys & girls for all competitions! The age categories are :
0-3 years
4-7 years
8-12 years
13-17 years and
18+
🥚 Competition entries need to be in by 1:45pm ready for prizes to be given at roughly 2pm followed by the raffle

Unfortunately Portchester Light Switch On tomorrow has been cancelled due to the weather conditions.

Santa will still be visiting Portchester Hub however the market will not be running.

We will be at Newlands Primary Academy on Sunday 12-3.

Reindeer Food - Raising money for The Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary.

Our annual Reindeer Food Fundraising has begun, and this year our chosen Charity is The Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary which is a place of loving care and peace for ex working donkeys and those in need of help.

If anyone would like to buy some you are welcome to either message and arrange a time for collection from Tukes Avenue in Gosport or I am offering delivery* on Wednesday 17th December for an additional donation.
*Delivery is availible for Hedge End, Locksheath, Whiteley, Fareham, Denmead, Wickham, Gosport Portsmouth, Leigh Park, Havant, Hayling Island and Emsworth. Please message me your postcode to see if I am covering your area!

Suggested donation for the food is 50p, and if you are requiring delivery I will give you an estimate on what I would usually charge - please note: this estimate is NOT a mandatory fee, however all delivery fees go into the tin so please give generously.

All monies are kept in a sealed canister, which will be opened and counted live on our page (date to be announced)
