Ambellotte Art Papercutting artist based in Norwich, Norfolk Each papercut is created by hand using a trusty scalpel, often taking many hours to complete.

Ambellotte Art create unique papercut art and gifts, all expertly designed and made by hand in our dedicated studio in Norwich, UK. Each papercut item is designed and prepared by our in-house studio team, then crafted by hand using only our finest specialist paper stock and a scalpel by our expert artist, to create unique items to our exacting high standards. A lot of the inspiration comes from the world around us here in beautiful Norfolk, UK, where Ambellotte is based, or whilst on travels and holidays in the UK & overseas. The style is usually contemporary and some papercuts are completed as multi-layered items, others are silhouettes without adding any colour, some are infilled using coloured papers, whilst others are applied with watercolours. Ambellotte Art can also create multi-layered papercuts from high quality reference photographs, as well as creating personalised or customised designs. In addition to nature and typography papercuts, Ambellotte also offers personalised gifts, for example, wedding papercuts with the bride and grooms’ names and their chosen wedding date. Also, Ambellotte has done several birth sampler papercuts with the baby’s name and date of birth and lots of unique anniversary gifts or teacher’s thank you presents. Victoria is our talented artist and master of all things crafts at Ambellotte, planning and creating all our beautiful artwork and gift items. With her specialist skills and expertise in papercraft, she always uses superior quality materials to apply design ideas with our extensive range of unique and highly desirable products for our many lovely customers. We also try to use as much environmentally-friendly materials and packaging in addition to using papers and frames from sustainable and responsible sources.

‘Meet the artist’

I’m Victoria Bond and this is my story. Having started papercutting as a hobby back in 2012, it quickly became my passion and after a 15 year career in nursing, I became a mum to my triplet daughters (Amelia, Bella and Charlotte) in 2015, and so our brand name is a portmanteau of their names – ‘Ambellotte’ Art. After all, they are my inspiration for everything that I do! It was in this same year that whilst on maternity leave, my art and papercraft adventure developed in to something more than just a hobby and so Ambellotte was born too! I hope you enjoy browsing the gallery and hope you find what you are looking for. If you don’t find exactly what you are after, or you like aspects or styles of different papercuts I have done, or want something truly unique, please contact us as we would be delighted to discuss with you any commissions or custom ideas that you may have. Please get in touch and let us know about your visit today too, whether it’s to make an enquiry, browse and buy, place a custom order, provide feedback or even praise, we’d be delighted to hear from you!

Good morning and just 24 hours out from my next event, I wanted to share with you the originals that I will have with me that will be at a special event price. Three of these four pieces will be heavily reduced (not something I normally do) but they deserve to find a home and with new pieces appearing in the studio I also need the space.

So if you are looking for a unique piece of artwork (these will not be recreated) pop along to the Fine City Events Summer event this weekend at the Forum.

Good morning all, and I'm flying into the last whole week of the summer holidays and I am ready to sulk. I love having my mini Ambellottes home and really hate them going back to school. But I'm trying to get back into a sense of normal to ease us back into routine.

This weekend I am in the Forum alongside some other members of the Norfolk Craft Guild at our first ever collaboration event with the lovely Fine City Events. I am very excited to be there and even though I haven't had a chance to create many originals for the event I will have a selection of miniatures, prints and greetings cards with me. I may even have some originals at a special show price as they really do deserve to find a forever. Will update more this week.

Well good morning everyone, how are you all? Yesterday was a huge pinch me, is this happening moment. 10 minutes of getting to chat about my artwork live across the BBC East of England network was amazing. Thank you so much to Thordis on the Radio for having me and making the whole experience so enjoyable.

Today is back to the juggle of keeping the mini Ambellottes entertained whilst trying to find a little bit of time to work, but I'm starting the next iconic Wells-Next-The-Sea piece to add to my collection. For those who know the area what do you think is next?

Good morning and I'm back, well summer holidays back so no peace or time to breath with the mini Ambellottes home so this could be the only post for the next four weeks or I see you again soon, who knows.

At least I'm back with a gorgeous new papercut available now Metamorphosis- The Gallery, 'T'Wit T'Woo' is my latest A3 handcut creation, taking around 55 hours to complete. Its a truly beautiful piece combining the different textures of feathers, stone and wood. Named after the owl that actually T'Wit T'Woos, it was inspired by the breeding pair I sit listening to alot of evenings at home.

Very proud mummy and daddy moment! As you all know I had the amazing experience of exhibiting with Fresh Art Fair in April and whilst we were visiting my mini Ambellotte Charlotte decided to enter their Young Artist competition. And bless her little heart she came third in the 9-12 years category. All three of my girls love art in all sorts of forms, I hope I have three artists following on behind me and until then I'm keeping an eye on my newest competition for Artist of the household 🥰

Well I did it and survived the incredible heat at the Royal Norfolk Show and despite the temperature had another amazing experience demonstrating my art to so many lovely people. The stewards were absolutely wonderful and made sure I was well looked after. The Show is over for another year but I already can't wait to do it all again, just hoping its a little bit cooler so I can enjoy it even more.

Today I am back in the gallery ready to welcome many more visitors. Let's hope it's not as hot as Wednesday but at least I have a fan! Have a wonderful day.
