I made a thing, quite a big thing for this Exhibition 😊

Exciting News First..
We have taken over the Campsie Room at Mugdock Country Park with an exhibition by our members.
'We Wonders o' Mugdock'
The Makkers have created some fabulous pieces inspired by the park.
Please do pop in and visit the exhibition if you are in the park.

The not so great News, we are cash only at the Makkers at the moment, some works on the road have damaged the cables cutting off our internet so we can't process card payments until this is fixed.

The lovely Lin-Pin has soe classes coming up on the shopping days at Mugdock Makkers Art and Craft Gallery.
I have been to one of Lynne's classes, she is so generous with her knowledge and tips. Everyone always comes away with something gorgeous.

Why not make it a day of fun and book yourself into one of the Lin-Pin needle felting workshops.
Lynne's workshops are running in the morning from 10:30am each day.

I have been busy making Christmassy goodies, I have some new felt robin brooches on the sewing table at the moment!

A few little robins have started appearing in the gallery, spotted one, hanging out near the pumpkins!
The Makkers are busy making Christmassy goodies and stocking up on your year round favourites ready for our Christmas shopping days on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th November.

Mini felt flower wreath.

The other day I shared the brooches i made with one of my kits, shown on the right.
I then used all of the bits of felt that were left to make as many roses and spiral flowers as I could.
I couldn't decide what to do with them until this afternoon when I found a wee wooden ring.

Voila! 3d Flower wreath.

I'm thinking this would make a great kit!

Friday 25th July is The Mugdock Market day at Mugdock Country Park and i have a wee drop in and join in crafty session on.

We will be turning mini artworks into badges and keyrings.
It is suitable for age 3 and up, grown ups welcome to join in too if you can doodle with a pen or pencil you can join in.

Please Note: parents must stay with kids while they create, we will have the adjoining doors to the Mugdock Makkers Art and Craft Gallery open so you'll be able to have a browse while you wait, if you are not joining in!
