Suggested Millboard for various decking projects but delighted with the Shadowline cladding. So many people think it’s wood as so realistic and they are really surprised to hear it’s composite.

After a couple of cancelled days and a long delay on Sunday due to cloud cover we eventually managed to take off around 14:40. I can't seem to send video (will keep trying) but here's the photographic evidence to prove I did it. What an amazing experience. There was a lot of funny face pulling and wobbly cheeks going on but it was grand and I'm so pleased I took the plunge. As an anxious bod I really was fine leading up to it. The family came and they were apparently all quite surprised that I was so calm all day. Even when hanging out of the aircraft door attached to Henk and looking down I was still excited. Thankfully rather a lovely male chief instructor to be strapped too as well.... He was great fun and very reassuring The first part in free fall my stomach disappeared and it did feel longer than a minute at 125mph from 15000ft down to about 6000ft. Falling through the clouds was surreal. When the parachute opens it's quite a jolt and you fly back upwards sharply. The rest of the ride down was really lovely taking in beautiful scenery in Salisbury and just the whole floating feeling. Yippee I did it without any broken legs. A huge thank you to the team at GoSkydive as they were all really excellent and wonderfully helpful. With gift aid and all your lovely donations it has taken my fund for Alzheimers support up to £2099 which is marvellous so thank you to you all. xx

So my skydive was cancelled last Sat 25th and again tomorrow as unsuitable weather. 3rd time lucky as now rescheduled to Sunday 2nd.

Such an important charity. I've known quite a few people who have had this cruel disease including 2 close family members and it is debilitating for those with it and exhausting for those caring. It really takes away the integral part of their personality and strips them of who they once were. Fundr...
