Let’s talk about wax! 🤩

We knew we wanted a plant based wax to avoid toxic ingredients so we chose coconut wax when making our ‘Tidal Aromatics’ candle range! 🌊

A lot of company’s use Soy as their choice of wax but we decided against that because Coconut Wax has a longer burn time & won’t turn crumbly, holds a lot more scent which means it has a superior scent throw while burning & while sat unlit, it burns clean without releasing toxic fumes but most importantly, coconut wax is a lot more environmentally friendly! 🌎🌿

Soy is a renewable & natural option but there is no non-GMO soy out there. Therefore a lot of harmful pesticides are used while farming & with soy becoming increasingly popular, 94% of soy agriculture is made using genetically modified means - that’s why it’s more readily available & cheaper compared to coconut wax! Coconuts don’t require pesticides or any kind of fertilizers to grow. They’re organically made & harvested by hand! Coconuts are also Non-GMO and have no genetic modifications! 🥥 🌴

✨✨ The more you know ✨✨

Well done if you made it this far - you deserve a shot 🫵🏼
