Wow, what a month itās been!! Iām not going to lie, I was a bit nervous going into the Summer that the shop would be quiet because thats been the case for all the other school holidays but oh boy, was I wrong!! š
August has been the best month of the year so far from a business POV and Iām so grateful to everyone who has visited us and kept us so busy even on those scorching hot days! š„µ
We launched our ābuild your ownā Ice Cream boards and they have been a complete hit!! I love seeing what combination of toppings you all choose and donāt worryā¦ theyāre here to stay even in winter so your little ones can still get their ice cream fix! š¤
I made a window display for Pride and showcased all of my Pen & Pearl Gifts | Colourful Keepsakes for Little Ones! rainbow coloured āall you need is loveā wooden signs and they sold out!! š
Weāve managed to squeeze in some lovely days out over the summer holidays! Itās such a privilege to be able to spend so much time with my baby and have a job that allows me to be flexible with childcare! š„°
Weāve had some fab events running over the holidays including another visit from Walk on the Wild Side and two summer special classes with Angela from Sing & Sign! It was really nice to welcome so many new families into the shop!
At the beginning of this month we launched our new menu with fresh bread (for toast) and pastries from Rogers Bakery! To say this has been popular would be an understatementā¦ the pastries normally sell out within an hour or so!! š¤Æ
Weāve had some gorgeous fan mail! š¤©Ā Never underestimate the power of a childrenās drawing saying they love your shop after having a bad day dealing with HMRC! š¬Ā I think I actually shed a tear when I walked into the shop and saw these!
Iāve had my little helper in the shop with me quite a bit over the summer holidaysā¦ sheās consumed a lot of marshmallows, smoothies and ice cream! And when I showed her that the postage labels were stickers she lost her mind! š¤£
We finished the month off with a visit from my lovely friends, the best gang and my biggest cheerleaders from day one! š
