White Rose Sewing Room White Rose Sewing Room makes hand sewn curtains and Roman blinds with care and precision for discerning clients in York, North Yorkshire and beyond.

Based on the edge of York, we have been making beautiful hand sewn curtains, blinds, pelmets and cushions since 2009. We offer a truly bespoke service with hand pleated curtain headings and all work is predominantly hand stitched. We hold many different sample books and can advise on and supply a wide range of fabrics, as well as curtain poles, tracks and other trimmings and accessories. We undertake commissions in a wide variety of properties - country cottages, contemporary barn conversions, Victorian terraces and new build houses. With an excellent road network nearby, we are happy to undertake projects right across Yorkshire and beyond. Well that's it - my big birthday is imminent, and I have now RETIRED!! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my loyal and lovely customers, as well as all of you who have followed my White Rose Sewing Room story over the last 10 years. Thank you to those who have liked and shared my posts and pictures. And thanks to all the lovely trade suppliers and reps who have followed me and supported my business. Finally, a special thanks to Richard, my wonderful fitter (and husband) for performing miracles on a regular basis - I couldn't have done it without you.

I've had a ball - but now it's time for new challenges and opportunities. So, thank you - and goodbye! (unless you live in York in which case - please keep in touch!!)
