My page is about all the things I make and what makes me laugh, I hope you enjoy your time here, so grab a cuppa and have a little look around, but first here's the story of how it all started. My Aunty Jan (an amazing lady) had bought a microwave kiln and showed me these beautiful pendants she had made. I had never heard of Dichroic glass never mind see any but I was hooked on the beauty and dept
h of this kind of glass. We were due to go on holiday the next day but my lovely hubby bought me a kiln while we were sat on the ferry on our way to Ireland, which was a good thing as the kilns take forever to arrive. It was while we were in Ireland that I found a pebble the shape of a boot, I thought "oooo that's cute what if there was a little mouse poking out of the top, how cute would that be" and so my little brain went in to complete over drive and ideas have been popping in and out of my head ever since. My mum who is my biggest fan bought my very first one and then promptly signed me up to the local county market to sell them. That my dear friends was the start of Iggle Pickle Designs. Oh why Iggle Pickle, well I do a lot of my thinking and finding treasures (twigs, pebbles etc) on walks with my dogs so it only seemed fair to name the business after one of them. Seeing as how we have two, one called Cookie and the other Pickle we did try a variation of names but Cookie Wookie Woo Woo seemed a bit much so Iggle Pickle it was.
