⛳️ From Badminton courts to a whole new level of entertainment! 🏌️‍♂️

We’re proud to be continuing our work at The Manor & Ashbury Resorts golf resort in Okehampton, where some seriously exciting transformations are taking place!

Our expert, IPAF-trained teams have been hard at work operating from scissor lifts to deliver a range of high-level decorating works across the resort, helping bring some fantastic new facilities to life.

🏌️ First up, the former Bambino Court…

This space is being completely transformed into a golf-inspired activity barn, bringing a Boom Battle Bar-style entertainment experience to the resort. Think putting greens, golf simulators, a bar area and, quite possibly, the biggest TV screen I’ve ever seen! 📺

🎾 And that’s not all…

We’re also redecorating the indoor paddleball and tennis courts, including challenging high-level ceiling works to accommodate a brand-new mezzanine gym.

Projects like this are a great example of how decorating goes far beyond simply applying paint. Working at height, coordinating around major building alterations and delivering a quality finish across large, complex spaces takes the right people, specialist training and plenty of teamwork.

It’s fantastic to be working alongside or friends and local builders Rob Clarke on such an exciting project, and we can’t wait to see the finished results!

More updates to come as this one takes shape. 👀

🏡 A new site start with Poltair Homes in Ilfracombe!

We’re delighted to be starting work alongside Poltair Homes at the former Bicclescombe Nursery site in Ilfracombe, as part of an exciting development in partnership with Aster Housing Group and the Ilfracombe Community Land Trust.

This is more than just another new-build development. The site had stood derelict since 1995, and thanks to a community-led initiative and the support of North Devon Council, the land was transferred at nil value to the Ilfracombe Community Land Trust to help bring much-needed affordable housing to the town.

The development will deliver 16 new affordable homes for social rent — a mix of one, two and three-bedroom properties designed to help local people and families secure a home in their community. A project with a genuine purpose, and one we’re proud to be part of.

🔨 Our package

North Devon Decorators & Tiling will be delivering both the decoration and tiling throughout the development, with a focus on quality, attention to detail and a finish that will stand the test of time.

We’ll also be using Zinsser Perma-White as part of the decorating specification, providing a durable, washable finish designed to help protect interior walls against mould and moisture — an important consideration when delivering quality homes built to last.

A big thank you to the team at Poltair Homes for bringing us on board, and to Stuart, the Site Manager, for helping get things underway. We look forward to working closely with the site team and all the trades involved as the development progresses.

As a North Devon business, it’s especially rewarding to contribute to a project that will make a real difference locally — creating quality homes, supporting the community and helping turn a long-derelict site into somewhere people can call home.

Here’s to a great start and another project delivered with pride! 👏
