š° Itās all in the grain.
When we glue each plank together to create a solid walnut worktop, we alternate the direction of the grain from one board to the next.
Why? Wood is a natural, living material. As humidity changes, timber expands and contracts across the grain. Alternating the grain direction helps balance out those natural movements, reducing the risk of the finished top cupping or warping over time.
Itās a small detail, but in fine woodworking, itās the small details that make a big difference.
Beautiful walnut, carefully selected, carefully joined, and built to last. šŖµ
