Another end to a busy week.

Our two apprentices have both been busy all week!
Our apprentice mechanic has been busy re wiring a trailer and prepping a cylinder mower for sale.

Whilst the other apprentice has been hard at it, selling 3 ride on mowers and booking in some machinery for repair.

It’s a close call between the two on who has been been more productive, so we’ll let the photos speak for them !

Don’t forget we’re closed this Saturday and Monday for the bank holiday, so we hope you all enjoy and we will see you next week!

We will be CLOSED this Saturday 29th August and Monday 31st August for the August Bank Holiday weekend. We'll be back open as normal on Tuesday 1st September. 🌞

Another machine in for service from a local authority!


This machine has come to us after a previous workshop could not diagnose an intermittent non start issue, a quick check on some common issues led us to find an issue with a wiring loom. Very common on this particular John Deere model.

We rectified the fault and fully serviced the machine so the operator has complete peace of mind that it will carry on running without any problems for while! As they say a broken machine can’t earn you any money! Unless of course, your the one who fixes them 👀

It’s been a hot one again today! 🫠

So we took our new apprentice Dexter out to show him the ropes on how to install robots! After some confused looks and interesting questions, he managed to get them installed.

This golf course has opted for 2 x Kress 4WD models to help cut the rough and fairways. Saving them time and money 💰

All professionally installed by us, so they have peace of mind that they will preform their best!

We think Dexter will appreciate being treated to cold beer on the way home! 🍺

Interesting machine in the workshop today.

This SMG sport champ is designed to maintain large artificial turf areas.

It’s come to us from a local customer for a transmission issue, we’ve removed the front transmission and gearbox to investigate the fault. Having found the worn part, we’ve managed to source the parts directly from the manufacturer in Germany and they are already on the way.

This machine will be back earning its keep in no time!

Toady we’ve replaced this Stihl Imow we sold years ago!

The customer wanted to upgrade the old perimeter wire machine to more modern Kress UK and Ireland GPS guided 4WD mower.

Credit to STIHL as the old IMOW was still going strong and is going on to be resold to another customer.

A local contractor decided to book some machines in for some much needed maintenance.

Taking advantage of the current dry weather conditions, and whilst the grass isn’t really growing 🥵! We’ve managed to rectify some issues that have arisen over the first half of the cutting season.

When the grass does eventually start growing again 🫠 this customer can have peace of mind knowing the machines will be in great condition to keep them working!

We’ve braved the heat and humidity again to install these 3 Kress robotic mowers.
