13 Years of JS Curtains and Blinds!

What a rollercoaster of a journey my small business has been on. From the early days of my sewing where it was just a little hobby, to working in workrooms full of ladies at machines . To having the support from my family to get my business off the ground.

We spent hours leafleting, advertising, telling everyone we knew that I was going to do it all by myself. My Limited Company of 1 (and a lot of family volunteer work) took off and now my little work shop in the garden has grown to a fully purpose workroom off site !

I could never imagine the way this road would lead. I've experienced everything from customers own curtains with fleas ( and a dead mouse) to fabrics so expensive I've been terrified to cut into. The hours of hard work which have gone into every piece make it all so worth it when I receive the message that your fitting went smoothly and you love the look which we created.

I would like to thank my loyal group of regular customers, with whom I have watched your families grow, moved into your forever homes and made forever friends out of as well. You and your undoubted support have kept my business afloat in times where I didn't know how we were going to survive.

So here is to the next year, in my brand new work room and with the future looking bright I am excited to see what the year will bring - even if that includes my annual over book yourself before your holiday and Christmas!
A special thank you also to my beloved Daughter Amy and Fiancé Gary. Who without them and their "labour of love" I wouldn't have done all that I have been able to.
Your consistent companionship and dance performances (mainly from Amy) at the other side of the table helped me when the going got tough .
I will share photos once the new workroom is complete
