Victorian London-Made Industrial Steel Deed Box 🏭💼
An incredible slice of industrial social history found right here in West Yorkshire!
The History: This heavy-gauge steel strongbox started its life in late-Victorian London, custom-crafted by the elite security metalware specialists Holmes & Son (Holborn, London), complete with its original stamped internal brass maker's plaque.
The Journey: It later traveled north to find a working home at the famous, defunct mining machinery giants British Jeffrey-Diamond Limited in Wakefield, who stenciled their iconic company name across the front.
The Look: Stunning, untouched dark amber-rust industrial patina. Perfect as a rugged statement piece, industrial coffee table style storage, or a local history collector's dream.
