Come with me for the day as a professional organiser 🧺✨

Not every morning is a perfectly curated one. Today started with me dropping my phone mid-film (classic), then breakfast in the car and a coffee so hot it was basically undrinkable for the first 20 minutes ☕🔥

Then it was time for the real work. This apartment had a lot going on, but honestly? Nothing fazes me anymore. Mess, piles and “I don’t know where to start” is exactly where I come in. No judgement, ever. Just one space at a time, one decision at a time.

And the best bit of the day? Driving home to a sunset like that 🌅

If your home feels like too much right now, you’re not alone and you don’t have to tackle it by yourself. Drop me a message or head to theneatcompany.co.uk 💛

Before you order anything, go and look at what you've already got.
Every year I open wardrobes full of perfectly good coats while a new one sits in a parcel in the hall. It's not disorganisation, it's just that nobody has time to check.
So here's the five minute version. Coats, school shoes, wellies, hats and gloves, jumpers and PE kit. Try them on, check the soles, match up the pairs.
Then buy what is missing, not the lot.
Save this or send it to someone who needs it.

You're allowed to not do this yourself.
Most people call me after months of meaning to get round to it. They know what needs doing. They've watched the videos, bought the baskets, started the pile. What they don't have is a free weekend and the energy to make a hundred small decisions about their own things.
That's the bit I'm actually for. I turn up, we work through it together, and the decisions get made quickly because I'm not emotionally attached to the mug your auntie gave you in 2011. No judgement, no lecture, no pretending your house should have been different.
By the end of the day it's done. Not started, not half done with bags still in the hall. Done, with everything out of the house.
You wouldn't rewire your own kitchen. This is the same thing, just with less risk of electrocution!
If you've been meaning to sort it since the summer, let's just get it booked. Free consultation, link in my bio.

If your bedding is a jumble of mismatched sheets and duvet covers you can never find the other half of, this one’s for you.

Folding fitted sheets doesn’t have to be a battle (I promise). Once they’re folded neatly, the right storage keeps everything easy to find and stops the pile toppling over every time you pull something out.

A few things that help:

• Keep each set together, so you’re not hunting for the matching pillowcase
• Store by room or by person, so everyone knows where their bedding lives
• Use breathable storage for spare bedding, so it stays fresh between uses
• Label everything, especially if you have different bed sizes in the house

It’s a small change, but grabbing a clean set on changeover day and knowing exactly where it is feels so good.

Want the links to the storage I’ve used here? Just send me a message and I’ll pass them on.

Your hallway is the first thing you see when you come home and the last thing you deal with on the way out. So why is it so often the place where everything goes wrong?

Shoes piling up by the door. Coats three deep on one hook. School bags dumped on the stairs, post stacking up on the side, and nobody can find the car keys at 8.15am.

It’s not that you’re messy. It’s that the space hasn’t been set up for the way your family actually lives.

A few small changes make a big difference:

• Swap your seasonal stuff over. Sandals, sun hats and light jackets can go into storage, making room for coats, wellies, hats and gloves
• Go through the shoes while you’re at it. Anything that no longer fits, hasn’t been worn in a year or the kids have outgrown can go to charity
• A home for keys, so they land in the same spot every time
• Hooks at child height, so the kids can hang their own coats
• One basket per person for the everyday bits

With darker evenings, wet coats and muddy wellies on the way, now’s a good time to get your hallway working for you rather than against you.

If yours is the room that greets you with chaos, I’d love to help. Free consultation, link in bio.

That feeling when you open your wardrobe and everything just falls out? Yeah. This bedroom belonged to a busy working mum who was drowning in clothes, every season all at once, nothing where it should be. It’s exhausting before the day’s even started.

So we sorted it. Summer and winter separated, everything given a proper home, and a wardrobe she can actually see into now. Getting dressed should feel calm, not like a daily battle.

If your wardrobe makes you sigh every morning, it doesn’t have to stay that way. Free consultation in the bio whenever you’re ready.
