This Halloween, we’ve given two of our favourite fragrances: Portobello Oud and Henge, little after dark magic! ✨

Each candle carries a witchmark and moon 🌙 design, screen-printed in gold onto deep olive glass. It’s hand-cut and a little imperfect, like a rubbing taken from old carved stone.

Henge, for the crescent moon.
Bergamot and grapefruit brighten leather and sandalwood before incense, oakmoss and cedar settle in. It’s rich and grounding, made for the first properly cold evenings.

Portobello Oud, for the full moon.
A woody, spiced blend of patchouli, leather, sandalwood and ginger.

AFTER DARK
Introducing two new candles for the darker months.
PORTOBELLO OUD & HENGE LIMITED EDITIONS

Strange rituals from our corner of England. Look closely at the beams of an old Wiltshire barn and you might find them: small circles and crosses scratched into the oak by hand, hundreds of years ago.
Witchmarks, cut around doors, windows and fireplaces, were thought to keep a home safe. We’ve taken those marks out under an October full moon and brought them back into the home.
Our new After Dark Candles are inspired by the atmosphere of these old rituals, two True Grace fragrances, given a darker new setting.

HENGE
Bergamot and grapefruit brighten leather and sandalwood, with incense, oakmoss and cedar creating a rich, grounding finish.

PORTOBELLO OUD
A rich, woody and spicy blend of patchouli, leather, sandalwood and ginger.

SCREENPRINTING
We screen print all our glass in-house, from candles and reed diffusers to hand wash and lotions. It’s all part of what we do at True Grace, alongside making the products themselves.

And because our containers are made to be used again and again, we make refills too. No need to throw away a perfectly good bottle or glass!
