Welcome to The Merry Maker! Thank you for visiting and hopefully liking my page!!
I’m Kathy aka The Merry Maker (I like to think of it as my alter ego! Im still designing my cape!). I am a stay at home Mum on the verge of 40 with two lovely daughters age 6 and 2 and a wonderful husband. I love chocolate, wine (any colour!!), chinese food, barbecues, a good beer garden and most importantly family time! I love to Merry Make my scrabble tile frames and I adore tap dancing (not that well! but I have danced at The Winter Gardens in a team competition!!).
So, how did The Merry Maker start I hear you cry!? Well, I’ll tell you!
It all started with wanting to create something very special for my Mum as a Moving House present. Something very personal to my Mum and handmade by me that would mean a lot to her and make her smile. The end result was a success and my Mum loved it (we both cried, happy tears!). I tentatively began creating more frames using different words and backgrounds and realised I loved making them but also that other people may love them too ( I hope you do!). I also wanted to create a page that was lovely to look at and would hopefully make people smile and be Merry!
