One of the additions to Ali’s unit today, this beautiful wooden advent train. The 2 carriages are double sided with 6 small drawers in each side. Perfect for a small treat or a lovely message.

Another good week of sales at The Old Corn Mill Antiques so we’re back there today adding some more items and having a bit of a move around.

Pop back later for some pictures of what we’ve added. We’re in their lovely cafe having a brew and a cake at the moment then we’ll go and take some more photos.

I made some more progress with my new unit in Farrow House yesterday and had some good sales and nice compliments.

Today we’re having breakfast at Kenyon Hall Farm, where we used to organise vintage fairs, then we’re heading back up to The Old Corn Mill Antiques at Bretherton to add some more items to our units there.

We’ve been over at Farrow House this afternoon to move some stock into my new indoor unit. It’s still a work in progress but more new pieces of furniture will be going in on Sunday when I’m on duty there 10am-5pm.

If you’re in the area call in and have a look around, we have lots of great traders in Farrow House and there’s also The Emporium, QC Antiques, plus several eateries and other shops on the Visit Blakemere site. Oh and parking’s free, what more could you want 😊

As well as more candlesticks Ali added some quirky ceramic items to her unit in The Old Corn Mill Antiques yesterday.

We’re not expecting the Carlton Ware crocodile tea pot and jug to hang around for long, the last time she had an item from this set it sold the day she put it on display.

The French sausage dish is a bit of fun and you don’t have to put sausages in it, Ali was going to keep it to keep earrings in, what would you use it for?

We’re back from one of our favourite places for a buying trip. We’ve been to some great antiques centres and markets and came home with a jam packed car.

Lots of new items will be going into The Old Corn Mill Antiques in Bretherton tomorrow and later in the week I’ll be starting to expand into my second indoor unit in Farrow House
