Just got done making this log shed today for an order. Not what I usually make but good to get the experience as these are showing to be popular moving towards winter as planters wouldn't be in demand. These could be a focus later on in the year. But as for now planters would stay the main idea.

A look at the first 2 planters I had sold with amazing looking flowers inside, it's great to see them in use , June Roche was kind enough to send over pictures of them.

A look at what I've got done last 2 days:
2 large planters measured 125cm long and 45cm wide and 48cm high made using treated timber.
Heading to cumberbach these 2 are the biggest planters I have made.

So if you’ve never come across me before , I’m Jensen.

I’m currently studying Joinery at Winwick Rd college and asked Meraki Woodcraft if i could get some more hands-on experience throughout the summer holidays and during my release days from college.

I’m 17 years old and, with the help of Meraki Woodcraft, have set up my own business, making wooden garden planters and wooden garden accessories from sustainable treated timber at Meraki’s Sankey Bridges workshop.

Initially, I began with 3 sizes of planters but now make them to any size.

Recently I’ve designed and built complimentary items to the planters, like the trellises in the images and the herb boxes that go with them.

It’s not a big business, and the amount of items that I build is limited to a small number each week.

Under the tutorage of Meraki, each of these items is made by me to a high standard.

Prices begin at £59.95 for a 50cm x 50cm x 43cm, and any size can be handmade to order.

The trellises are £80 with one herb box, and all items complement each other and work together to create a system.

Over the next few weeks I’ll also be building a seating bench that sits between 2 small planters and the trellises.
