Another small window fit, this time in an old cottage in Claverdon.

This time they needed the shutters for heat control as the windows are the original windows and even though the secondary glazing was there it was still pretty cold in that room.

Monster shutters were in it was much cozier and much warmer.

Shutters don't only look pretty and in most people's eyes improve a home, they also serve a great purpose in keeping heat in and or out.

So pretty. Client wanted privacy so she could lay in bed of a morning, but still be able to see the blue sky... Which conveniently today there was! Briefly.

Cafe style shutters are traditionally in lounges and kitchens etc. However in this instance they work perfectly.
