Showroom Sales / Social Media Assistant.
Location: Washington Fireplaces, 16 Elswick Road, Armstrong Industrial Estate, Washington, NE37 1LH
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Regular weekend working)
Salary: Starting salary £28,000 PA

About Us
As the largest showroom in the region, we feature over 400 fireplaces and 60 live media walls, wood-burning stoves, and bespoke surrounds. We are dedicated to providing an unmatched face-to-face retail experience and are looking to welcome a professional, driven Showroom Sales Assistant to our busy team.
Role Overview
Our Sales Assistants are at the heart of our busy showroom – your primary focus would be welcoming customers & advising the best solution for they're requirement. As the first point of contact for customers, we are looking for someone friendly and approachable, willing to learn the products we sell to provide the best advice possible. Experience with sales in the fireplace industry is valued but not necessary. This is a full-time role which requires regular weekend working.
In this new role, we are also looking for someone with knowledge of social media marketing to promote our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. We are a growing company and looking for someone to help us expand our social media reach accordingly.
We have a small sales team, as such we are looking for a team player who is a good match for the rest of the team.
Core Responsibilities
• Providing friendly and well-informed sales support to our customers. It will be necessary to learn about the products in the showroom and technical information about products.
• Creating new social media content across various platforms – we are looking for fresh and new ideas to grow our reach
Skills and Experience
• Sales experience or experience in a customer/trade facing role is preferred, experience in fireplace/fire sales is valued but not required.
• Experience managing social media accounts across various platforms. Proven experience in improving engagement/followers/reach would be beneficial.
