💕🦔 Hi everyone, I have been organising my little work shop today, It certainly needed it!
I feel I am now ready to start making pottery again.

My aim is to be able to have a summer sale in June so I will start as soon as I my clay arrives. In the meantime, I am writing a list of summery ceramics that I could make - any ideas anyone? Let me know in the comments below 😁

💕🦔I’ve just received a lovely message from a customer with a photo of the woodland walk hedgehog decoration (now named Harriet 😁) that was purchased in last week’s online sale.

It’s great to see her in her new home. Here is Harriet on her first trip travelling in a motorhome in Llandudno 🦔💕

💕🦔Good morning,

I meant to post this last week but was a just a little bit busy organizing my online sale of ceramics 😄You can just about see the bright little ceramics on my table in the background ready in anticipation for the sale. I love seeing all the cute little hoggy faces looking up at me 🦔❤️

I had a lovely delivery of pottery glazes last week, it included some underglazes and glazes that are different to the ones that I use at the moment. I will paint some test tiles to see how the glazes behave in my kiln.

The taller bottles are the clear glaze that I brush three coats on to each of my ceramics to give them a lovely shiny surface and make the underglaze colours really pop. I’ve bought enough to hopefully keep me going for quite a while🤞

Sadly the local pottery shop where I buy my supplies from has now closed permanently so I’m going to have to source everything I need in the future online which has an added cost of delivery. I’m particularly concerned about buying clay. The clay is so heavy weighing in at a hefty 12.5kg a bag and the delivery cost is around the same cost as the bag of clay. So I need to do a bit of research. Luckily I still have half a bag to use.

I’m still packing the ceramics from last week's sale but I’m hoping to finish today so that I can get them posted out early next week. Once again thank you for your support, I couldn’t do this without you. Have a lovely day 🦔💕

💕🦔CERAMIC SMALL IVY LIDDED TRINKET BOX🦔💕 SOLD

This ceramic lidded trinket box has been hand built with a hand sculpted hedgehog attached. I used a shape cutter to cut out the ivy leaves which were then attached to the clay. Once dry it was fired in my kiln, then hand painted and clear glazed and then fired again.
