Next in our Meet the Team series is Barney Jacob, our head of operations and someone who plays a huge role in the development of Gas Mark 1 Herts Bathrooms and Kitchens.
Barney joined in 2002 as a plumbing apprentice and what followed has been an impressive career journey spanning more than 2 decades.
From working on the plumbing side Barney went on to specialise in bathroom installations before helping to develop the kitchen department. He later moved into surveying and project management before taking on his current role as head of operations.
Today Barney is involved in almost every project that comes through the business from initial surveys and planning, through to installation. His knowledge, experience and attention to detail help ensure our works run smoothly and customers receive a high level of service and care which we pride ourselves on.
Barneys contribution goes beyond his role- he has been instrumental in training and developing the next generation of engineers here.
We are incredibly proud of his journey with us and his career is a great example of what can be achieved through commitment, hard work and a willingness to keep learning and developing.
