Every bespoke project starts with a conversation.

When Craig Fairbrass and his wife Elke visited our showroom looking for a feature mirror wall for their London home, the brief was simple: create a statement piece that would enhance the entrance hall without overwhelming the space.

Following a detailed consultation and site survey, they selected our Nubis Antique Mirror finish, combined with a bespoke tiled layout extending from floor to ceiling across the full width of the wall.

Unlike standard mirrors, antique mirror glass softens reflections while still enhancing natural light and creating a greater sense of space. Every panel was manufactured to the surveyed dimensions before being carefully installed to achieve precise alignment and consistent joints throughout the installation.

Projects like this demonstrate that a feature mirror is much more than a decorative finish. When properly designed, it becomes an architectural element that complements the interior while adding depth, texture and character.

It was a pleasure working with Craig and Elke, and we're proud to have delivered a bespoke installation that has become a focal point within their home.

A converted barn. A private performance studio. A mirror package designed around the building, not forced into it.

For this project at The Byre in Guildford, CreoGlass designed, manufactured and installed bespoke gym mirrors around the original timber structure of a converted barn.

The brief was simple in principle, but technically demanding in practice: create large, clear reflective surfaces that would support training, improve light distribution and spatial awareness, and still respect the character of the existing architecture.

The project involved site surveying, design development, production drawings, radius-corner mirror detailing and careful installation sequencing around an active renovation programme.

The result is a private training environment that feels purpose-built rather than retrofitted.

𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

When Darren first approached CreoGlass about an 𝗟𝗘𝗗-𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 splashback for his Windsor home, the initial cost was higher than he expected. He explored the market, considered the alternatives and later returned to us with a clearer understanding of what was involved.

The finished installation became a substantial architectural glass package.

At the centre of the kitchen is a large-format 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 glass splashback, illuminated with 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗘𝗗𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟳𝟬𝟬𝗞 𝘁𝗼 𝟲𝟬𝟬𝟬𝗞. The feature extends across more than five metres and was manufactured in two carefully aligned panels.

Because the kitchen is located in a basement, the glass had to be delivered through a basement window. The central vertical joint, access route, lighting distribution and surrounding grey mirror cladding all required careful planning.

Several weeks after completion, the basement suffered a major flood. We returned to inspect the installation, replace affected drivers and repair the lighting system where required.

The relationship continued.

CreoGlass was later commissioned to manufacture and install two bespoke black aluminium 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 with ribbed glass, including an oversized hinged door with a fixed side panel.

For us, this project demonstrates more than the finished appearance. It shows the value of technical guidance, reliable installation, responsive aftercare and the trust that develops when a specialist delivers what was promised.

This luxury apartment at 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 started with a request for bespoke feature hallway mirrors. As the interior evolved, so did our involvement.

Working alongside Kodak Design and Astiga Limited, CreoGlass became the specialist architectural glass partner for the project, delivering bespoke glazing throughout the apartment, including:

✔ Fluted glass WC doors and partitions
✔ Gym mirrors

One of the biggest challenges was that the project was continually evolving. Each installation visit often led to new surveying requirements as additional glass features were incorporated into the design.

By working closely with the architect, developer and site teams, we were able to coordinate every phase—from surveying and manufacture through to final installation—ensuring each element integrated seamlessly with the completed interior.

The successful delivery of this apartment led to two further commissions within the same development, something we're always proud to achieve.
