🎄✨ I CANNOT believe the festive season is already creeping up on us… and the Christmas prep is well and truly underway! 🎅🏼🎄
For those who don’t know what the next few months have in store for me, allow me to paint you a festive little picture… 😂👇🏼
⭐️ Wet, cold and miserable weather — Operation Bobble Hat is officially in full swing! 🥶🧣
⭐️ My nails, which you all love so much, will be absolutely destroyed until January. RIP pretty nails 💅🏼
⭐️ Approximately 60 pairs of secateurs will be sacrificed to the Christmas gods. ✂️🪦
⭐️ Blisters, cuts and hands rougher than sandpaper — and no, I can’t wear gloves. Apparently, my hands have chosen violence this year! 🖐🏼😂
⭐️ Wires and string pinging me in the face whilst making decorative pieces. Nothing says Christmas quite like a near-death experience with a piece of floristry wire! 🤦🏼♀️😂
⭐️ Pens running out halfway through writing Christmas cards. Because obviously, handwriting 847 cards wasn’t enough of a challenge already! ✍🏼📮
⭐️ And finally… PINE NEEDLES. EVERYWHERE. 🌲🌲
In my hair, down my top, in my car, in the house, in places I didn’t even know existed… and somehow STILL finding them next Christmas! Honestly, I’m convinced they reproduce when nobody’s looking. 😂😭
But despite the cold, the chaos, the ruined nails, the battered hands and the constant threat of being attacked by a rogue pine needle… I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️🎄
