First post for a while 🗓 ⏰

Don’t post enough of our carpet work compared to hard floor installations as often as we perhaps should do on here as sometimes photos don’t do justice!

This work, however 😍🤩 we have to show!!

Multiple stairs and landings completed today in this patterned carpet. You’ll see from the top landing to bottom step, the pattern matches everywhere from the top down.

We feel we really do thrive with this type of work 😀

BEFORE AND AFTER… 👀👀

Stage one of this project completed this week 😍

Existing wood block flooring uplifted followed by full preparation works before installing Amtico 18” x 4” plank in herringbone laying pattern with no border!

Construction work can now start before going back to carry same flooring through hallway and bedrooms 😀

Uplift carpet, underlay, gripper and thermoplastic tiles ✅
Initial layer of screed to stabilise concrete subfloor ✅
Application of damp proof membrane ✅
Final layer of screed ✅
Herringbone laying pattern laid 45 degrees ✅

We absolutely love work like this as it allows our installation teams to demonstrate what they do best!

42m Karndean Designflooring completed this week!

When floor was surveyed once existing laminate flooring was uplifted we found different subfloors and detected moisture in a concrete slab.

The pictures here show how we executed the work:

Plywood over floor boards ✅
Damp proof membrane application to concrete slab where moisture was detected ✅
Prime subfloor ✅
Flexible screed over whole area ✅
Final fitting ✅

Showroom update ✅ Swipe to see before and after photos

Second half of showroom renovation completed this week. Lights supplied and installed by , installation of new wall stands with all updated products.

(And, of course, new flooring 🥳)

Simon first took occupancy of this space in 1991 as he needed additional storage space working as a self employed fitter. A few years later it was our initial original showroom before taking possession of next door and knocking through to increase our space where we now have the best range of all types of carpet, laminates, wood flooring, Karndean and Amtico flooring on display.
