A 19th century country house sarcophagus box ottoman. The pine frame raise on an ebonized base and feet. The lift up lid opens to reveal a white linen interior and the outside in possibly the original floral fabric.

In good used antique country house condition. It does show some signs of wear.

A mid 19th century armchair by Howard & Sons, London - England c1850. Raised on walnut legs with the original Cope & Collinson brass casters.

Structurally in good solid order and ready for upholstery.
The arms and back retain the original horsehair fillings and there is a fragment of the original Howard cotton lining. The seat is a later replacement.

As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish and we can supply a reproduction of Howard & Sons blue and white printed cotton lining.

A wonderfully deep seated William IV country house library armchair. Raised on turned and carved Rosewood front legs with the most dramatic splayed Rosewood rear legs. Currently upholstered in faded red leather.

The chair stands firm and sits well with a nice tight frame. The innards are firm and intact and likely original. The cushion is a later addition, probably added when the chair was covered in leather around 50 years ago or so.

A superb early 19th century giltwood convex mirror. The nicely foxed original plate held with an ebonized reeded slip surrounded by a simple frame with 25 unusually squashed flat gilt balls. What also makes this mirror a little unusual is that the surmount is a Stag resting on rocks surrounded by acanthus leaves. It retains its original candle holders and back boards
