Chocolate Bunny 🐰

Well hi 👋🏼 This is my first post in I think, months?

I took quite the extended break from posting, and from crochet in general as I lost the motivation over winter… The dark gloomy weather wasn’t exactly inspiring creativity 😂

But I’m looking ahead to spring & summer coming up, and after a week on holiday I’m feeling that motivation creep back in! 😍

The first thing I’ve crocheted this year (besides finishing a couple of turtles) is this adorable chocolate bunny - I can’t get over how cute the tail is 🥰

My main crochet goal this year is to start working my way through my giant yarn stash (4 years of buying and not using yarn immediately has built up…), and this chocolate bunny was the first piece 😄

Getting into the festive spirit with my first christmassy crochet of the year - gingerbread man! 🤩

I love how he turned out - I kept the stuffing minimal to maintain that cookie cutter shape. I also experimented a bit for the buttons and I’m so pleased with what I ended up with, supergluing dk yarn to safety eyes!

The pattern is from iheartgantsilyo.com but I adjusted the legs/arms so that round 3 was white for the ‘piping’.

For yarn I used Honey Bunny / Baby Snuggle
