🌟 THE FACE BEHIND THE BRAND 🌟
Thought it might be time I introduced myself! I’m Cathy – The heart behind Elle & Edward, based in beautiful West Yorkshire. This journey began with my passion for spending far too much money on candles and melts that either didn’t burn properly or leave that funny smell at the end of the burn, and I wanted to craft my own that not burned well and smell amazing - without the nasty toxins. We are also an incredibly eco friendly and sustainable brand - everything we use is recycled or recyclable and from a sustainable source which is really important to me.
Im a mum of 2 (7 & 10 year olds) and the name Elle & Edward holds a special place in my heart, as it combines my children’s middle names – a reminder of how personal this brand truly is to me.
Growing up, two of my favorite places to visit were Arran Aromatics on the Isle of Arran and The Old Apothecarie in Haworth. I just used to walk around for as long as my mum would let me smelling and touching everything! Those visits inspired me to create something unique that connects with people on a deeper, more personal level. With Elle and Edward, every product is lovingly crafted in small batches to ensure the finest quality and attention to detail. For me, it’s about more than scent; it’s about creating an experience and bringing a bit of West Yorkshire’s charm into your home (and also knowing I have created you a product that is 100% perfect).
