I’ll be honest, the last couple of weeks were a whirlwind of personal stuff and things taking so much longer than I realised. My perfectionist brain wanted to wait until everything was “flawless” to show it off 🌟

But then I remembered why I started this, to help you celebrate real, messy, beautiful life moments through my cards. So here we are a little later than planned but they are here! 🎀

I’ve had my head down all week but if you asked me what I’ve achieved, I’d probably struggle to tell you 😩

Being a small business owner means wearing every single hat. Some I love (like getting your orders ready and designing new colourful stationery) and some I really, really struggle with (tax returns and website tech) 🖥️💌

It’s been one of those weeks where the list is long, the hours have been more than I’d like, but the progress feels invisible.

If you’re in the middle of a head down week where you feel like you’re stuck in place, you aren’t alone. Taking a deep breath and reminding myself that the boring admin is what allows the dream work to happen.

We all know how it goes. We start January with all the sparkle in the world and then... life happens. The burnout kicks in, the plans go down the drain and the positivity we felt two weeks ago starts to fade.
This year, I’m not chasing a perfect version of myself. I’m just trying to GLISTEN through the mess. ✨

That means ending my nights with a pen in my hand, finding three things to be grateful for before my head hits the pillow. It means admitting that I’m terrible at last-minute cards so I’m sitting down at the start of every month to batch write my love for my fave people. 📮

It’s about realising that spreading kindness to the world only works if I’m kind to myself first (which I’m trying to get better at). Sometimes, that looks like celebrating a little win with a cup of tea and a Seb cuddle under a blanket. Other times, it’s the quiet power of saying “no” to protect my mental wellbeing. 🌿✨

I do what I do because I believe life is too short for mass-produced stationery and “just getting through the day.” I want a life full of colourful stationery, kindness and positivity. 💌🌈
