Just a couple of jobs that I’ve recently done including lvt herringbone for the final room in the house along with a couple of rooms I done previously along with most of the house before I went downhill with my health and also a small job at the Hawthorns school and nursery just requiring a replacement safety flooring. Nothing special the latter but it was additional after fitting an event carpet as I usually do annually for them!

As for availability apart from 3 days in the middle of August with allocated time off in thought and still unable to do overtime, I am pretty much booked up until the middle of September and then a few days here and there booked.

It’s been a rather solid may and summer which has been much needed, still a long way to get to 100% but besides the odd infection to setback very very slowly improving by the week.

Not the best pictures and not many completed pictures as it’s pretty much trade followed by another trade.

Engineered flooring fitted for 3 rooms, wardrobe area and the majority of the ground floor also it was a very busy 3 weeks on this job. Job totalled near 300 square meters of wood flooring. The ground floor tongue and groove and the top floor being a click system. Ready for the builders to fit the kitchen, wardrobes and the rest of the finishing touches.

Physically I’m definitely slowly improving, still a long way as I ended up enforced off for a couple of days and could definitely do with getting a lot less infections as a result of bites which apparently all part of post sepsis syndrome! Either way definitely on the right track but proceeding with caution.

This was a laminate herringbone 14mm thick fitted for the ground floor back in my original location of Leatherhead.
For a laminate herringbone this product felt like this will stand the test of time and once the stuff clicks you’re more looking at ripping it out to remove. Almost too good!
No doubting it looking the part and certainly makes the ground floor look bigger.

Carpet fitting for 2 x staircases and landings over in Surbiton.
This was a project I started last year in originally stripping out what was a dated early 60’s styled home which included chipping off the perishing render, removing pretty much absolutely everything including the roof which upon removing multiple bits showed a lot of remedial work including a single brick skinned extension, wet rot and so forth.

I was unfortunately unable to continue the rest of the project due to being busy later in the year and then what I’d hope to have continued in the new year I slowly became unwell so therefore I had to focus on my health. I was glad to give the finishing touch though and until the next job!

So I can officially say that after the last couple of weeks I’m back working on a full time basis.

I will however as you can probably understand not be partaking any overtime or evening jobs due to my continued recovery and rebuilding of my fitness and general wellbeing. It would be silly to go overboard after all the patience getting back to as is currently.

The last few weeks I’ve done a multiple of odd jobs as well as including my little side project with leftover timber, whitewashing a flat and making good of what used to be heated skirtings, a shading, front fencing for the parents and multiple projects that I sadly cannot show due to potentially breaching contract obligations.

Very busy for the next what seems to be 6 weeks. Besides that any enquiries then by all means feel free to contact me.

Hey everyone! Typical of me not posting hardly anything on my page.

A long overdue update along with a few bits I’ve done and odds and sod’s (and a random picture of Tommy)
Sadly it’s been over a week since I was diagnosed with catching pneumonia and sepsis, as a result I am currently still off of work and have been for over 2 and a half weeks now. It is likely I caught pneumonia a fair few months ago without me realising it was pneumonia and mistaking it for the general flu and of course my crappy immune system didn’t fight it so well hence the infection and sepsis.
After further consultation with a doctor I am to take a further 2 weeks off and hopefully by then I can only start light work which is unideal but due to the severity of the infection and the illness I am most definitely not going to go against anything that I am told not to do for a change!
I am aiming around April where I am to get get back to full capacity. In the meantime I am to rest and when I can slowly rebuild lost fitness to get back to where I was!
