We arrived early for the ferry so had time to enjoy the empty beaches at Ouistreham - followed by the obigatory Moules Frites afterwards

Sheryl and Nick were their usual hospitable selves - tea and Cadbury chocolate biscuits - and we wanted to buy everything

Highly recommended source And only a short hop from Caen ferry

Tomorrow we get up very early to tackle the market Can't wait

It's nearly time for so sorting stock for Sunday

These colourful vintage coffee pots will be coming with us, cleaned and ready to go

They make great decorative pieces and work perfectly for displaying flowers or storing utensils

We will be in our usual position opposite the bookshop and George IV pub

Spending a few days in the Welsh Marches and discovered Leoomister is booming as a vintage and antique centre with several new shops including this one - run by the lovely Helen and Kelli

Northern French treasure After walking past kilometres of clothes and DVDs at three markets at the weekend we managed to find a few interesting pieces Sadly some of our favourite brocantes were shut for the Assumption Day holiday
