Northern French treasure After walking past kilometres of clothes and DVDs at three markets at the weekend we managed to find a few interesting pieces Sadly some of our favourite brocantes were shut for the Assumption Day holiday

It was quality over quantity during our last trip as long journeys were out with our tiny hire car following tbe crash

Mr Skoda is heading for the body shop next week - fingers ctossed he returns to us and is not put down!
