Absolute cringe, the lisp is lisping 😂… but here I am!
I’ve never really been someone who lets anything get the better of me but this last 18 months I can now look back and see abit of a knock on effect that’s been going on!
My customers mean everything to me, supplier friends too- I’ve not been on my A-Game, and I don’t want anyone thinking I’ve disappeared for good-
I’ve dusted myself off- kicked the doubt out of the door and I’m back baby 😎 👌🏼 it’s scary having a whole business that relies solely on you, but life would be boring with a bump in the road now and then!
As always I appreciate every single person who makes the Flower Girls wheels keep turning, every order, like, share, recommendation is always appreciated ♥️
Thanks guys,
Laura x 😘

Just a snippet of some of the gorgeous weddings we’ve been part of this past couple of months… summer was hectic as always- but now we’re in the ‘ber’ months- shorter days, snuggly vibes, weddings slowing down and starting thinking about Christmas 🙈
Time flies way too quick! X

A little introduction for any new followers on how we work it here at The Flower Girls. It’s not exactly your normal 9-5 set up which is exactly why it works so well!
We are lucky enough to work from a workshop on the farm where I live (50 foot commute to work!) which is literally just out of the centre of whalley…swipe across for a video drive in!
We are in the workshop most days around school times 9-3:30… unless we’re out doing a job 😂, but then don’t worry, we’ll leave your bouquet in the workshop labelled for you to collect when your ready! And of course if your collecting out of these times it’s also fine… I just run across from the house to the workshop, sometimes with 3 kids in tow! We always prefer for you to call and pre-order/ give us a heads up your on your way, but if your passing and want to bob in your always welcome ♥️
The workshop it’s self is at the end of the farm shed, it’s cold ALL THE TIME, which is fab for flowers!
From January-March it gets noisy with sheep as neighbours… but you might get the chance to meet a little lamb on your visit!
From March- December we’re next door to all the baby calves… but they are a very cute and friendly bunch!
So all in all, it’s kind of chaotic and definitely unique… but if you’ve met us you’ll understand that kind of fits the theme!
We love our pink palace and I for one at very proud of it 🥰 ###
Ps. Not quite sure what we were trying to achieve in photo #3… the things I find on my camera roll 😂

A very jam-packed weekend for me and Rose…
Friday we headed off up to the to set up Nic and Chris’s wedding in this scorching hot weather!
Then a chilled out evening and stay .
Then whilst up in the lakes we squeezed in a 26 mile hike all in aid of , it was hot and hilly but the gorgeous views and the bit of breeze now and then kept us going!
Then back home Saturday night to keep flowering!
Then today Holly’s beautiful pastel wedding flowers for her wedding and a wedding open day with some fab bright pinks and oranges.
Needless to say, we’ll sleep tonight!

Just so obsessed with this fluffiness from Lucy & Isaac’s wedding last week.
Minimal greenery, Playa Blanca & Quicksand roses and peonies the size of plates 😍… what dreams are made of!

02/05/2026

Love it when the peonies do what they’re told and open up perfectly… first photo was this morning after being in the cold workshop… then perfectly bloomed at for Frankie & Gaz’s big day 🌈

It’s 8 years since we went instagram official with The Flower Girls ❤️
ALOT has changed since then… a retro business card, the early days where the house was always full of flowers, the workshop being built, finally getting a flower van, juggling babies, wreath classes, a t.v programme, pop up shops, bouquets made for every occasion imaginable, countless weddings, funerals, amazing relationships built with venues and suppliers and of course all of our amazing customers/friends.
Forever grateful for all the amazing places this little florist business has taken us… here’s to the next 8 years!
Than you so much for every enquiry, purchase, share etc 😘 ###
