Whitby Kiln

06/07/2024

It was Fyling Hall School end of year prize giving this morning & the fabulous Hema Gillings who is the most amazing art teacher suggested Matt and I pop up to the art room to see how Whitby Kiln has lived on 1 year after we closed. GCSE & A-level Art students have been using the studio glazes on their exam pieces. We were blown away with the ceramics the students have created & we are delighted the glazes are being put to good use. We even spotted the studio chairs & the potters wheel which we used to use on our throw pottery days being put to good use. Last year we were broken but time is a healer & visiting the art room at school this morning made our day 🎨🎨
