Why we chose yellow | Our Living Colour Chart: Part 3

The Emley Rug uses tones of yellow and gold. Before selecting the colours for this rug, we looked again at all your submissions to our Living Colour Chart to see what these colours mean to you.
We found yellows and golds evoke positivity, nostalgia and are uplifting.

Thank you once again to all of you who have shared your colour stories through our online chart. We love reading them. You can read all the stories online and submit your own colour through the link in our bio.
What will your colour be?

Why we chose green | Our Living Colour Chart: Part 2

Thank you so much to all who have taken part in our online Living Colour Chart. We found that greens often reflect people’s love of nature and the outdoors. These shades of green that were submitted now feature in the Newcombe Rug from our Venetian Collection.

We love to hear your stories and you can still submit your colours through our online portal. What colour will you choose?

RE-CREATE | A new series of Art Blankets

Continuing our RE-CREATE initiative, we are proud to release a new series of Art Blankets. Produced in our Whitstable studio, each individual composition required over 30 hours of work, transforming carefully collected selvedge and remnants from our textile production into abstract artworks to be used as a blanket or wall hanging.
Each is entirely unique and will never be remade.

Why we chose blue | Our Living Colour Chart: Part 1

Thank you to everyone who has submitted colours to our online Living Colour Chart. We noticed that blue evokes feelings of freedom and openness, reflecting the depth of the ocean and expanse of the sky. Many of these indigo tones can now be found in the Chartwell rug from our Venetian Collection.

We would love to hear which colours are significant to you and read about your colour stories as we embed them into our designs.
