Hello everyone, I know it’s been a long time but we would love to get together to sew and craft a nice fun festive make in December.

This is the gorgeous Deux Saisson Fig tree our planted in our garden because it is one of hubby's favourite fruits. These figs are incredible! Get prepared to make your jam by getting everything you need together and ready beforehand. I have a maslin pan for my jam making but if you don't have one then a nice pot with a decent base will be fine as well....

Yesterday I had my 6 week post op follow up with Mr Alkafaf's support team at The Alexandra. It was great to see them all again and chat about how I'm progressing and they have confirmed that I am doing what I need to. I've made a couple of substitutions in my medication which they are happy with and when I go for my 6 month blood tests this will confirm whether I am getting the right quantities of vitamins and minerals I need....

You won’t believe how easy it is to make your own yoghurt, and not only is it so gorgeous but much cheaper than buying it ready made. For me is a great source of protein since my weight loss surgery. I love the fact that all you need is milk and a bit of your previous yoghurt; also that I know exactly what’s in it too....
