A little look at what’s been happening behind the scenes lately 🌿
I may have gone a bit quiet on here… but life in and around The Quiet Shed has been anything but.
The past few weeks have turned into a whirlwind of creating - rebuilding parts of gardens using reclaimed materials, turning old timber into planters, experimenting with new ideas, making a fire pit, restoring pieces, collecting copper, and generally covering myself in paint and sawdust most days...Oh and of course, there's Clyde!!

First completed commission and what a transformation.
From tired dark wood to a fresh modern finish with a natural wood top and new hardware to bring it back to life.
Loved working on this one and seeing it come together piece by piece. It’s always nice when someone trusts you with a piece and gives you the freedom to reimagine it.

Not every part of this work is pretty.
Sometimes it’s splinters, bent nails, tired hands and a pile of stripped pallet wood that most people would walk straight past.
But there’s something satisfying about slowing down long enough to see potential in what’s been thrown away. Piece by piece, board by board… ready for another life.
