Apologies for not posting on my grid but I have been working hard in the background preparing for a busy couple of weeks coming up.

First I’m back at this Saturday at Allendale House, really love doing this fabulous craft fair which will be full of amazing creatives.

Then from 23rd May to 7th June it’s here at Walford Mill. We are featured in the brochure and we are venue 66 in East Dorset so please come and visit us and enjoy a coffee and cake at

A new a very exciting collaboration with the amazing

Debby has her final exhibition here at opening on the 1st August and has kindly let me create a couple of hand painted clay landscape scenes, which she has woven together on her loom with her beautiful hand dyed silk threads. It’s been such an exciting opportunity to work alongside Debby and something we have talked about doing over the last couple of years. So to see two of my clay images come together in silk, framed ready for her exhibition is a dream come true.

And we are open! My goodness it’s such a joy to be back down in our studio space again here at we have missed it so much. Thank you again to all our customers and visitors for all your support while we have been drying out from our second flood.

Myself, Wendy, Lisa, Jan and Mel are slowly sorting out our displays and will be adding new stock over the next few weeks. Mel is taking a break but will be back with all her lovely stencil samplers and workshop news. We look forward to welcoming you all back in the lower ground floor.

Keep Going! Yep just got to keep positive and not give up! It’s been a difficult and frustrating couple of weeks battling the flooding here at never knowing when the water might disappear and reappear just as I’d finished mopping and cleaning the floor. Mother Nature has a way of showing her force but all the makers have rallied together to help and support each other including our cafe and we all have such an amazing bond.

We have moved up into the Pop Up area while we wait for our studio to dry and very much hope to be back in there soon. The mill is open again so please do pop in and see us all and thank you so much for all your kind messages of support. Let’s hope we all see the sunshine again soon ☀️

This is the current situation here at and we have a lot of water surrounding the whole of the mill, courtyard and with my end totally full of water which comes up underneath the flagstone floor through a small hole where the river runs underneath. The water came through Monday night and unfortunately the level is higher today (Friday) so we have now had to close the mill for the time being until the water levels start to recede.

has also closed as the water is completely surrounding the cafe.

We will keep you updated on the situation and hopefully once the water has gone back down and we can start to clean up inside we will let you know when we are fully open again.

I’m a little late with my 2025 monthly roundup, it was a fab one again looking back over the last year and another amazing one in plus all the fab opportunities which came along too.

Excited to see what 2026 has to offer and thank you again for all your support 🙏

I’ve been playing, creating, experimenting with my clay and it feels so good to have the pressure off and to get creative again and free my mind to try some new designs. My brain is bursting again with ideas, normally when I’m trying to go off to sleep, I get my most vivid ideas then and have such an urge to go and play. So many more plans and combinations to try before I get back in for my first day back on the 7th January. Pop in and come and have a look if you’re nearby.
