Big thanks to all of you who came to the Badger Farm Community Centre festivities on Saturday, 22nd August and joined the short needle-felting taster session. It hopefully equipped you with the skills to complete your sunflower picture masterpieces and more! It was a fabulous day! 😊🥰

Come to Badger Farm Community Centre
this Saturday, 22nd August, for an afternoon of free festivities and crafting. 🥳 I'll show you how to make a cute pom pom frog, and we'll have a go at needle-felting a sunflower picture. BFCC is donating 10 kits for each workshop (first come, first served), and I'm volunteering my time and skills. Let's have some fun and craft together! 😊❤️ There are other festive activities planned as well - so, come and see for yourself!

I simply love observing and listening to sheep and lambs bleeting in the fields - I find it comforting and heartwarming. What about you? What are your favourite sheep colours? Let me know in the comments! ❤️🤩
Lately, I've been needle felting woolly sheep - this little fella sold at Wi******er Guildhall market last weekend. So, I'm now making new ones - some are even getting fancy autumn colours... Any colours you might like to see? 😉🫠

A lovely lady stopped for a chat at my craft stall last weekend and asked me if I had any 3d needle-felted hares (I had a felted picture). She said that someone close to her loves hares and she thought they were spiritual animals. This conversation inspired me to make a 3d hare. I have some Shetland sheep core wool from my trip to the Lakes District, and I thought the mottled browny-grey colours would do nicely for this project. 😀 It was quite a challenge as I wanted it to look like a real character (but not too cartoonish). It took most of my day today, so I'm now ready for a walk, before I start getting ready for the Craft and Gift arket at the Wi******er Guildhall tomorrow.
