Jo is coming again to do Tool Sharpening 10am-12pm
Bring along your knives, shears & snippers to be sharpened! Pay cash per tool direct to Jo on the day. Keep those tools sharp, keep them in use & save them from landfill

Brynn Embley Photography is coming in to take Family Photos 10am -12pm
Bring along your family for a quick photo session in the shop! Book 10 min slot with us for £10 which gives you a hot drink, cake, 10 minute photo session & a free Digital image with a chance to purchase more direct from Brynn. What a great Christmas present for the family

🍁 Friday 30th Oct Friday Flowerclub Posies available to purchase until they're gone, always seasonal, always fresh, always £14 support us by buying British grown flowers. Also a great Christmas present for someone you love, buy them a Flowerclub Voucher !

🎃 Saturday 31st Oct For a bit fun on Halloween we have a judge the Pumpkin weight competition 10am -12pm where you could win a free Pumpkin spiced Latte 🍂☕️

Dog Walking Dartmoor
This is Chizel & we are hosting his owner Denise again from Denise Horner on Wednesday 11th November 7-8.30pm @£20pp including refreshments

Denise will talk about the health benefits of Nordic walking & the joy experienced in her walking groups she runs on Dartmoor so that you don't have to head out walking on your own. You may of met Denise here before & we stock her Dog Walking book in the shop Winnie Horner pop in & took a look

We have lots of lovely dog walks near to our Florist Shop Cafe in Winkleigh including all beautifully woody with circular path routes & near Dolton Devon Wildlife Trust just up the road

Pop in to our vintage garage with long tables & comfy sofas in your muddy walking boots with your dogs in toe for coffee & cake to refresh your soul

🍂 Awesome October, alot happening in the Florist Cafe Shop over the next few weeks here in Winkleigh

📷 Have you met Brynn? From Brynn Embley ⭐️ Devon & Dartmoor Photographer a fabulous photographer who lives in the village is offering a pop up session for young families here Catkin Blooms Florist Cafe during half term. You'll can book a 10 minute photoshoot with your little people on Wednesday 28th October. Over coffee & cake you'll get a digital image & the option to purchase more.

🌱 We've got our Autumn Wreaths available for Front doors, stable gates, graveside tributes & garden table decorations ! Joyous things & fully biodegradable, starting from £25 upwards.

🌸 Bunches of Blooms still fill the shop as we continue to enjoy the Dahlias for the vase, Cyclamen for the windowsills, Echinacea for the garden.

🍰 Coffee & Cake as always & also the BIGGEST PUMPKINS you've probably ever seen ! We've even got Pumpkin spiced Lattes & Gingerbread Flatwhites.

✂️ Reminder that lovely Jo from tel 07496535222 is here on Tuesday 27th October between 10-2pm once again offering her Tool Sharpening skills for your scissors, knives & shears.

Celebrate here at Catkin Blooms Florist Cafe with Coffee, Cake & maybe a little purchase of our new seasonal Cook Book from Philippa’s Seasonal Kitchen

We were delighted when Philippa popped in with her new Autumn Cookbook after doing cooking demonstrations Rangemoors here in Winkleigh with their gorgeous range of ESSE Range Cookers & Stoves cookers

Such a lovely gift or treat yourself, full of ideas & Autumnal images, the perfect treat

September has been all Blooms, Cake & Paint
We've had Dahlias to charm us, cakes to tempt us, paint to cover us (& the walls!)
The sofa area & wood insulation walls are now all terracotta pink, the shelves are pea green, a big thank you to Southwest Fixings for mixing our colours & supplying our brushes!

We are switching seasons here in the shop
The jigsaws are back on the shelves & out on the tables, the hot chocolates are pouring out, the goat mohair socks are back in!

We are closed for one week this week to embrace change & the Autumn Equinox as all the girls head off to new adventures.
Open again as normal from Tuesday 29th September as we head into October & the charge to Christmas.
The Autumn Winter newsletter went out today with our Christmas Wreath Making Workshop dates so get in touch if you fancy joining in.
Spare places will be advertised on here 1st October.
